On my trip to the rediscovery centre in Ballymun I was surprised to learn that the CEO of the company was giving us a tour of her company building. It was a great experience to be taught about sustainability and how it can be integrated into our daily lives. I began to wonder if there was a way to spare her some time while giving an enriched experience tailored by age to those who come to visit.
Another aspect which was realised was the centre has a low sales output of up-scaled and recycled items possibly due to its distance from Dublin city and lack of online presence. An augmented shopping experience was designed to help users realise the value of these items and possibly attract a higher volume of visitors. This would allow people to see what's in stock and also to try out products and clothing in their own home.
